Resizing Logos After Uploading on Squarespace and GoDaddy

All website builder platforms (such as Wix, Weebly, Squarespace) allow you to resize the logo at appropriate level after uploading the website. This capability is important because it allows you to resize a larger logo image to the needed size.

In Squarespace and GoDaddy, you can resize logo through slider available on the right-side panel. In platforms such as Wix or GoDaddy old version, you can resize the logo by clicking on the corner of image, then holding and dragging it appropriate size.

However, advanced platforms such as Squarespace do not allow stretching the logo image more than the original pixels - however, you can shrink the logo to the needed - but not less than 20 pixels height. To enlarge it, you must upload a logo in larger original size. I think this is good restriction by Squarespace which can restrain non-experienced web designers from doing any mistake in logo resizing. For example, in our video demo, you can see that Squarespace does not allow 145 x 40 pixels logo to stretch more than 40 pixels of its original height.

On the other hand, some website builders such as GoDaddy allow you to enlarge the logo image more than the original size.

Please note that you should not enlarge image logo more than its original pixels – otherwise logo image will appear blurry.
