Logo Size Recommendations by Wix, Squarespace, and GoDaddy

Please note that no website builder recommends any specific size for the website logo. However, I have picked some important suggestions from top site builder platforms. Personally, I do not agree with many of these suggestions.

GoDaddy suggests that the height of logo should be below 104px – otherwise it will overhang the top navigation bar.

A GoDaddy blog article also recommends 500x500px for a logo image.

Note: By following this recommendation, I had designed a logo for one of my GoDaddy sites in 500x500px but now I realize that it was a wrong advice by the GoDaddy official blog post.

According to Wix, the website logos can be of any size, however generally, the recommended logo dimensions for a web page are 250 x 150 px.

Squarespace clearly says that any specific dimensions for site logos are not required.

However, Squarespace recommends that logo should be double the size of what is needed but also warns that it may cause blurry logos on some devices and browsers. Squarespace finally gives golden advice to create a website logo in size which is ideal for majority of your audience.

The great feature of Squarespace is that it allows you to use separate logos for desktop and mobile sites.
