Best Examples of Favicon Designs

Although there are numerous favicons which are ideally designed but during my research, I came across following best favicons having ideal and clearly distinguishable visibility in browser tab. → Watch Video Tutorial below.

• Zillow – Their team has created favicon with background of ‘Home’ icon and placed the ‘Z’ letter over it which is transparent. It provides optimum visibility on any background color of browser.

• Sanofi – The favicon on Sanofi website is also inspirational. It has used white rounded background and placed the first letter ‘S’ of the brand name over it – providing clear contrast and visibility to the favicon.

• Google TV – The beautifully crafted and multi-colored website icon of Google TV also provides optimum visibility in browser tabs.

• Facebook – It is highly visible favicon with rounded blue background and white colored ‘f’ which is the first letter of the brand name.

These are the best favicon examples which provide clear visibility and brand identity in browser tab.
