However, today I will use Microsoft Designer, an excellent online browser-based photo editor that is completely free to use.

Method for Making the Backsplash Banner Responsive on All Devices

Now letโ€™s learn to make it responsive on both mobile and desktop screens. Ensure that the Rumble background banner adapts to both mobile and desktop screens for better responsiveness.

So, access the โ€œMy Mediaโ€ folder and upload the template photos to Microsoft Designer from your device.

Click on the mobile template photo to overlay it onto your design. Expand the template photo to match its full width precisely with the default dimensions of your design. Adjust its position by moving it, and once the horizontal and vertical guidelines appear, release the mouse click to align it accurately with your design.

Now click on the โ€œPositionโ€ and select โ€œSend to backโ€ option.

As shown in our tutorial video, the business name or logo outside the mobile safe zone will be cropped on mobile devices. It means that the โ€œDโ€ letter of the logo will not be visible on Rumble mobile. The brand slogan is also covered and hidden by profile picture on Rumble mobile layout.

To address this issue, adjust the placement of the logo and slogan to ensure they are within the safe zone for Rumble mobile layout. After the adjustments, all central elements on Rumble backsplash will be visible on all devices whether on mobile or desktop.

The elements on the left and right side of the Rumble backsplash will only appear on computer screens. Let's ensure they are positioned within the safe zone.

So, first, right-click and delete the mobile template from your own design.

Now bring the desktop template over your design and expand it to match the default size.

Send the desktop template to back.

If some graphic elements are positioned at the unsafe zone for Rumble desktop layout, they will not display on desktop screens.

Therefore, delete the desktop template and change the position of elements to keep the elements within safe zone for desktop screens.

Congratulations. You have created a Rumble backsplash for your channel in perfect size for all devices.

Download the Rumble Backsplash

It is time to save your Rumble banner. Click on the Download button located in the top right corner of the screen and save the file in PNG format. Remember that Rumble does not accept JPEG files; only PNG or JPG formats are suitable for backslashes.

After the download is complete, select the "Save as" button and designate its storage location on your computer.

Upload the Backsplash Picture to Your Rumble Channel

To upload your Rumble backsplash, follow these steps:

Click on the profile logo at the top right corner of your computer screen.

Select โ€œAccount Optionsโ€.

On the โ€œSettingsโ€ page, click on the โ€œUpload Backsplashโ€ button.

Upload the image from your computer.

Click on the โ€œTick Markโ€ symbol.

Your created Rumble backslash will display in full width and height on computer screens. However, on mobile devices, only the central portion will be visible; the sides will be cropped out.

Your Rumble channel profile picture also hides some portion of the backsplash banner when seen on mobile devices. It is not any fault in your design of the backsplash. It occurs due to the default containers for Rumble backsplash which are different for mobile and desktop devices.
