How to Show/Hide Downloads Button in Microsoft Edge?
By default, this button, is hidden but you can activate it to see or delete any item in your downloaded history. From browser, you can directly and quickly access the download folder in your computer without opening it through file explorer. You can also resume downloading an item, you had cancelled while it was being downloaded. You can also search through all the downloaded documents in the past.
Navigation Path: Click Ellipsis or three dots … on top right of browser window to access ‘Settings and More’ (or press Alt+F) → Settings → Appearance → Select which buttons to show on the toolbar: → Downloads.
To Access the settings Microsoft Edge mobile browser, click ‘three dots’ (…) on bottom of phone screen, then Downloads.
You can also hide the button by following the same navigation track. Downloads button looks like a ‘downward arrow’ and appears on the right side of address bar in Edge browser.
How to Change Location of Downloads Folder in Microsoft Edge?
You can assign some location of your choice in your computer and the Edge browser will send the downloaded documents, files and images, fonts to your assigned folder in computer. You can change the location of downloads folder by entering this link in address bar of Edge browser and pressing enter.

You can also access the option by opening Edge settings and then selecting ‘Downloads’ option.
How I Customize Additional Settings of Edge Downloads Folder?
Navigation Path: Click Ellipsis or three dots … on top right of browser window to access ‘Settings and More’ (or press Alt+F) → Settings → Downloads.
I toggle ON the button next to ‘Ask me what to do with each download’ option.
I toggle ON the button next to ‘Open Office files in the browser’ option. It will save the space on hard drive of your computer.
I toggle ON the button next to ‘Show downloads menu when a download starts’ option.
