Google Chrome View and Delete Browsing History
Here are some pro tips for managing your Chrome history.
Settings Location
Click three dots … on top right corner of screen in Chrome browser (computer and Android mobile) → History. It is a quick view of your recent browsing history.
It is very useful option as you can explore your history of visited website pages and quickly access a specific page again just by clicking the ‘History’ option and selecting a specific link.
How to View History in Chrome?
Click three dots … on top right corner of computer or on your mobile phone device. As you hover over the ‘History’ option in the menu, a pop-up will open on the left side of desktop screen. Here, click on the top bar of the pop-up - where the word ‘History’ is written.

You can also open the History page by pasting chrome://history/ in the address bar and press Enter.
Browsing history in chrome is saved for 90 days.
You can also see your browsing history in computer by clicking the ‘down arrow’ button in the top right side of toolbar (Search Tab button) in chrome browser.
Another way to see history of recently visited pages, is by clicking and holding on the back or forward buttons (arrows) on the left side of address bar. Through this option, you can quickly open a previous page again.
Several Methods to Delete Browsing History in Chrome
After you have opened the detailed History page in Google Chrome, by following above method, you can delete history links in these methods:
Click the ‘Clear Browsing Data’ button to clear or delete your Chrome browsing data.
To delete a specific link, select ‘three dots’ option next to that link and click ‘Remove from history’ option.
To select all links, press Ctrl + A on keyboard and then select ‘Delete’ button which will appear on top right side.
You can also paste chrome://settings/clearBrowserData in browser address bar and press Enter to view the option of clearing browsing data. Another way to access it: open Settings page, then select ‘Privacy and Security’ option, and there select the ‘Clear Browsing Data’ option.
Delete History on Chrome Android Mobile
Open Google Chrome, and click three dots on top right corner. Select History option.
Here you will find the ‘Clear browsing data’ option.
To delete only specific links, just tap on the ‘X’ button, next to that website link.
To prevent chrome browser from recording your browsing history, you can browse webpages in incognito or private mode.
