Google Chrome Save Webpage to Browse Later without Internet

It is a great feature of Chrome browser which allows you to download pages of websites in advance and save them in your device (desktop and mobile), so that you read or consult those pages later where internet facility is not available. → Watch Video Tutorial below.

It is especially helpful when travelling in airplane or moving to deserts or mountains where there is little chance of internet connection.

Google Chrome Save Webpage to Browse Later without Internet

Open the preferred website page in web browser.

Click three dots … on top right corner of screen in Chrome browser → More toolsSave page as.

Select a folder in your device to save the webpage. You can open the file of saved webpage to read it without internet connection. You can delete the file just like you delete any other file or image in your device.

In Android mobile phone, you can save a website page by clicking ‘three dots’ on top right of Chrome screen and then click on the ‘downward arrow’ button on the top of panel. You can access saved webpages in Android phone by clicking three dots in Chrome browser and then selecting ‘Downloads’ option.

Exactly similar feature for downloading websites, is also available in other browsers such as Microsoft Edge.
