How to Insert a Clip in Between Two Clips Premiere Pro?
To quickly insert a new clip between other clips in timeline, press Ctrl on keyboard and keep it pressed while you drag/import the clip in timeline.
→ Watch Video Below.
Forward arrows indicate the position where the clip will be inserted. Bring the arrows over the split point where you want to insert the new clip and release the mouse click. New clip will be inserted exactly in between clips.
Here is an alternative method of inserting a video clip between other clips.
Simply drag the clip at the end of sequence and edit it if needed.
For example, you want to insert additional new clip after the first clip in sequence, then select all forward clips and move them away, temporarily. Now first snap the new clip with the first clip and then select all other clips (you brought forward) and drag them to join the new clip.
