Method to Customize Your Ad Preferences in Google account
Ads are essential part of the world wide web. As we see ads on TV and print media, we should also refrain from hating ads on websites. Ads are source of necessary revenue for websites including Google and some of that revenue is spent for the security and betterment of internet services. For example, Google provides great free services (think of Google Maps) for the benefit of everyone.
Google displays ads from various websites and apps, based on your interests.
On Google site, you can see all of your interests, generated automatically by Google based on your browsing activity in Chrome, YouTube, search and other web sources. For that purpose, Open the following link in your browser.

To view your ads settings, you must sign in to your Google account.
Here you will see your age group, gender, and languages. You can also see a long list of your interests.
You can turn ON or OFF ad personalization. I will suggest you keep it ON so that you can see relevant ads. We should learn to trust on Google.
Here you click any interest and turn it OFF or ON – include or exclude it from your personalized ad preferences. For example, you can delist an interest, for which you do not want to see ads now.
