Squarespace Remove text link underline without CSS
Here is a unique method to hide the link underline without CSS in Squarespace. You can see that on Dozro website homepage, some hyperlinks are underlined. However, I have removed the underline from certain text links.
Problem
By default, Squarespace adds a line under all text links.
However, for some text links you want to hide or remove the underline.
But if you modify CSS, the changes apply throughout the website.
Solution
So, to remove the link underline, select any specific linked text. In text toolbar, click the Highlight button and apply your favorite highlight option.
Once the highlight is applied to the text, select and copy that hyperlink text.
Add a new text block and paste there the copied text. You can also paste it on any other page of your website.
Done.
This trick will hide both the underline as well as the highlight line. No need of any CSS modification.
To remove a hyperlink underline on a blog post (or a store page), perform the above process on a layout page (such as Home, Contact) and then paste the link in blog post.
For example, the one of the following text links on this blog post has no underline.
I hope you like this Squarespace trick.
