  • Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and go to Settings.

  • Select On Startup and choose the Continue where you left off option.

Microsoft Edge

  • Click the three-dot menu, navigate to Settings, then select Start, home, and new tab page.

  • Choose Open tabs from the previous session.

Set Web Pages to Automatically Open in Other Top Browsers

You can also set websites to automatically open on every launch in other top browsers like Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, Brave, and Safari, making it the best way to save links for later use across platforms.

1- Firefox: Settings → Home → New Windows and Tabs → Open tabs from the previous session.

If you could not ‘restore’ web pages, then you can have the option of manually saving websites in browser. For example, in Google Chrome, click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and go to Settings. Select On Startup and choose the “Open a specific page or set of pages” option. Here, you can add the URLs of your favorite webpages. you can also utilize the “Use current pages” option, to instantly save URLs of all pages, currently open in browser window. This feature is supported in all browsers.

Adding Links to a Bookmarks Folder

One alternative way to back up your open website tabs in the browser is to save the URLs in a bookmarks folder. You can easily do this by dragging a link (or the security icon) from the browser's address bar into the bookmarks folder. Keep in mind that in Microsoft Edge, the Chrome bookmarks are referred to as 'favorites.'

  • Managing Multiple Browser Profiles: To enhance organization and minimize distraction, consider managing multiple browser profiles. Each profile can host a different set of bookmarks, helping you separate work and leisure browsing. Now, open Chrome mobile and simply tap the tab overview button (top right of screen) to see all your open pages.
