AI Designer in Microsoft Edge

In July 2023, Microsoft Edge introduced a new tool to automatically create AI images.

Here are some salient features of this new feature.

• It is currently free to use but in future its advanced features will be available to users after paid subscriptions.

• This AI image creation feature in Microsoft Edge is powered by DALL-E.

• You can use AI Designer without signing in your Microsoft account but with limited feature availability.

• In its initial launch, you cannot cloud store your created imaged. Therefore, you should download your creations.

To use AI designer, click on Bing Chat icon on top right corner of Microsoft Edge browser, then click on + symbol on the Edge side bar and under ‘Manage’ you need to turn ON the toggle button of Designer. It will display on the side bar. Just click over it and use it. Just write the description of image, what you have in mind, and the AI Designer will create several AI image options for you.

I have tested the feature and in my initial test the generated AI image was was faulty or too basic.
