These are common questions in the mind of a user.
Should you allow or block third-party cookies in Chrome?
You can disable third-party cookies. These cookies track your activity online. You have the option to block all third-party cookies or make exceptions for specific websites. For instance, you may choose to enable cookies for Amazon and Microsoft to avoid repeatedly entering your password.
But blocking third-party cookies may restrict you from accessing some features of a site. Additionally, you may see irrelevant and useless online ads, instead of personalized ads according to your interests.
However, keep in mind that there is no security harm in allowing the third party cookies except tracking your activity.

What is my personal strategy for dealing with tracking cookies?
I prefer using two browsers on my device for different purposes:
I reserve my primary browser for important websites like YouTube, Google sites (e.g., Google Translate), Facebook, Squarespace, GoDaddy, and Yahoo Mail.
The secondary browser is dedicated to websites I don't plan on revisiting.
To ensure quick access and smooth login experiences, I enable third-party cookies on both browsers.
I retain cookies and site data on the primary browser but clear third-party cookies and other site data (like stored images) every few months.
