Adobe Premiere Pro Best Audio Export Settings – Sample Rate, Channel, Bitrate
So, what are the best settings for audio?
Adobe Premiere Pro automatically applies the best tweaks for the audio in export settings, which are matching with the source audio .
→ Watch Video Tutorial Below.
Best Sample Rate in Premiere Pro
If your source audio also has the sample rate of 48000 Hz then Premiere Pro will automatically apply the same sample rate for export. Similarly, if the source audio (of video or voiceover) has 96000 sample rate, then Premiere Pro will automatically apply 96000 Hz in export settings.
Please note that according to Adobe experts, exporting at a higher sample rate does not improve quality and requires resampling which can result in larger file size and longer export times. It means that if your source audio has 48000 hertz then do not export in 96000 or higher sample rate - instead you should record original audio in 96000 hertz.
Best Channel and Audio Bitrate
Always select Stereo channel due to larger support. YouTube also recommends stereo channel for audio of the video.
Please note that the best audio bitrate is 384 kbps, therefore make sure that your source audio should have 384 bitrate value. Audio bitrate values of 256 and 320 are also fine.
For example, if your source audio has the bitrate value of 255 kbps, then you should select a matching value nearest to that. Therefore, you should select 256 kbps instead of the best 384.
Other export settings are quite basic.
For example, the best option for your video as Multiplexer setting is MP4 because it most widely supported video format. If you choose None next to Multiplexer, then audio and video streams are not merged and exported separately.
Similarly, in Effects section, you can apply your favorite effects to your footage and test it in Preview panel of export window on the right side. Similarly, Metadata means the basic information attached to your video such as date of creation and video file format.
